We are Fit4Future!
Fit4Future is a massive project in which we involved the whole company to define the future of our airports in Bulgaria.
We looked 20 years ahead to define how our airports should look like in the future and how we should create it ourselves.
Fit4Future is a project with different elements. Our start was a very playful one - creation of comic strips showing travel stories in 2040, including what kind of airport experience we expect and what kind of technology will exist at the airports.
For this element of the project, we invited 25 external partners and more than 100 employees, divided into 13 teams.
What is the Fit4Future?
"This is an exercise that looks 20 years ahead into the future.
Taking this experience, we can return to the present - here and now, and very precisely define how we can move in that direction.
We came up with different high technology and business development projects.
We believe that we are embarking on the right path that will result in our success in the future and will create interest in the future."
- Dr. Frank Quante, CEO
What is the project goal?
"The goal of the Fit4Future project is to collectively develop a Vision for year 2040.
We must work together to come up with a common future vision of the Fraport Twin Star Airports in Bulgaria.
Because the best way to predict the future is to create it ourself - starting now!"
- Nikolay Sekalov, CCO
What we aim to achieve?
"This is the moment we have to reshape our organization, to build projects and strategies in order to prepare for the future.
Because, after this, the future will be very bright and there will be a big jump, as history has shown us.
The results which the management wants to achieve are to think over our processes and brainstorm how we can improve and optimize them.
This will increase the understanding of our processes and our operations, and sooner or later, there will be good ideas popping up in some minds and this will improve our life." - Rossen Philipov, CFO
